Alex + Mom: Art for a cause

One of the most meaningful parts of my art journey is the Alex + Mom project, which I share with my daughter, Alex. Together, we create joyful, colourful pet portraits that make people smile, and we do it all for a good cause.

Fifty percent of the profits from our Alex + Mom sales are donated to the Winnipeg Children’s Hospital Foundation. Last year, we raised $935, and this year we’re determined to go even higher!

These pieces are a true collaboration. Alex brings her creativity and unique style by doing the innitial drawing , and I redraw it with her guidance, making sure I maintain her artistic integrety. Just a polish, really. It’s fun, heartfelt work that connects us with families, kids, and the community.
